Vandals target Memorial Hall, cars, portable toilets in Thorpe

Published August 13. 2019 09:19AM

Jim Thorpe police are investigating several reports of criminal mischief that occurred sometime overnight Friday into Saturday, on the east side of the borough.

Police said vandals damaged several vehicles between the 600 and 900 blocks of Center Street.

Police also believe the same people tipped over two portable toilets near the baseball field located near memorial hall. The vandals also attempted to break glass doors on Memorial Hall and knocked over several garbage cans at the basketball court.

Police are asking anyone with information concerning these incidents, or video surveillance, to contact them at 570-325-4995.

Yes, the same one! They're too busy sitting at Highlands, Ice Cream Shop and 76 Susquehanna looking for moving violations because having a headlight out is a bigger crime than some vandals outside the police station or police officers beating up their step-children.
